CSM offers a unique opportunity to be a change agent in the heart of Birmingham, Alabama, an epicenter for historical racial and economic equity issues. As a hub for serving vulnerable urban populations in partnership with many local churches, NGOs and municipalities, CSM is offering college or post-graduate student internships in the areas of volunteer group leadership, general admin, community development, graphics/communications/social media, nutrition/dietetics, social work, program development/outreach, horticulture and construction/carpentry.
